Grants Alert - This is a free service designed to make life easier for schools and districts searching for education grants. Their number one goal is to assist in searching for education grants and identifying new funding opportunities for their organizations, schools, districts, consortia and state education agencies.
GrantWrangler - Grant Wrangler® is a free grants listing service offered by Nimble Press™. We make it easier for teachers, librarians, and parents to find funding, including grants and awards for arts, history, mathematics, science, technology, and more.
Digital Media, Learning & Education (MacArthur Foundation)
Grantmaking in education seeks primarily to gain a better understanding of how digital technologies are changing how young people learn, play, socialize, exercise judgment, and engage in civic life. Grantmaking also is exploring how learning environments – peers, family and social institutions (such as schools) – may be changing as well.
Internet Connectivity Services
The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) provides a broad range of programs and services for school districts, other State agencies and to the general public ranging from procurement and IT expertise to personnel and benefits to management of many properties around Illinois.
The Collaboratory Project
The Collaboratory Project is a Northwestern University initiative that provides project consulting, training, technical advice, and Web-based resources and services to K-12 teachers and their students who are interested in using Internet technologies to advance education.
Miscellaneous
The Afterschool Alliance - The Afterschool Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of afterschool programs and advocating for quality, affordable programs for all children.
21st Century Community Learning Centers - This program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools.
Magnet Schools Assistance -
These projects support the development and design of innovative education methods and practices that promote diversity and increase choices in public education programs.

2009 Illinois Education & Technology Conference (IETC)
November 18-20, 2009
